Baltimore County Housing Choice Voucher Program Informational Session

On October 27th, the Baltimore County Council approved its source of income legislation. This bill establishes creates a number of protected classes, including source of income. Starting December 27th, housing providers will be prohibited from denying prospective tenants residency because they have a Housing Choice Voucher. 

To prepare for this change, the Baltimore County Housing Office will host an informational session for rental property owners on Tuesday, December 17th from 10-11:30 am at MMHA offices. During this session, Baltimore County staff will teach MMHA members how to navigate through the Housing Choice Voucher Program and answer questions from the audience. Register soon as this event is likely to fill up.
