David Jacobs has worked for Legum & Norman since May of 2023. Prior to joining L & N, he worked for one of the largest property management companies in the Mid-Atlantic region for over 15 years. During his tenure, he held several positions including Credit Manager, Resident Manager and Assistant Property Manager. While excelling in each position, he became particularly recognized for his exceptional skill in collections, delivering unprecedented results across multiple communities.
David is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in reducing delinquency and implementing effective strategies to minimize financial loss. Leveraging his exceptional problem-solving, conflict resolution, and customer service skills, David consistently enhances traditional collection processes, delivering outstanding results. His expertise was recognized with the CEO Presidential Recognition Award for his timely innovations, leadership, and exceptional service during the COVID-19 pandemic— largely attributed to the transformative impact of his collection efforts.
As Credit Manager, his proactive work in preventing evictions and homelessness earned recognition from the Prince George's County Department of Social Services, where he was invited to contribute to discussions on the Rapid Rehousing Initiative. His valuable insights led to his appointment as a Board Member with the Prince George’s Community Crisis Center (Maryland 211), where he continues to advocate for housing stability.
In addition to his current role at Legum & Norman, David remains an active member of various industry associations, contributing his expertise to support the multifamily sector. He is also pursuing his Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation to further expand his professional credentials.
